Skydeck Chicago, Willis Tower

Skydeck Chicago (Willis Tower)

The Skydeck is located on the 103rd floor of the Willis Tower. A privileged vantage point overlooking Chicago, the Skydeck is home to 4 floor-to-ceiling glass booths called The Ledge. Suspended 1,353 feet above the ground, these four transparent rectangles emerge from the building, allowing visitors to literally "walk" in the void above Wacker Drive. Before you take the plunge, rest assured that each cabin can support 9000 pounds.

In addition to the glass cabins, the Skydeck allows visitors to experience the movement of the building in high winds. Telescopes and multimedia screens provide a wealth of information about the panorama, while a small exhibition looks back at the city's cultural, historical, architectural, musical and sporting icons.
