Best Western Grant Park

Best Western Grant Park in Chicago

We like this small Best Western for its ideal location across from Grant Park, one of the city's most popular spots. The park is home to the Shedd Aquarium, the Field Museum, the Art Institute and one of the largest fountains in the world, the impressive Buckingham Fountain. You can walk across the park to the lakefront, and the Magnificent Mile shopping and dining district is within walking distance.

Most of the hotel's 172 rooms offer unobstructed views of Lake Michigan through large picture windows, with the tops of the tallest skyscrapers in the background. The hotel also offers free Internet access in all guest rooms and public areas.

Very rare in Chicago, the hotel offers its guests a large outdoor swimming pool. Fornetto and Mei's Kitchen, the hotel's on-site restaurant, serves homemade pizzas and classic Italian-American dishes. The Lavazza Italian Coffee Bar serves breakfast (pastries) and lunch (sandwiches).

Holiday Inn Express Magnificent Mile

Holiday Inn Express Magnificent Mile

We like the simple yet modern decor of this Holiday Inn Express, located on the edge of the Magnificent Mile, with its stores, restaurants and huge shopping malls.

Rooms open to large windows framed by white walls with designer touches.

The hotel is close to the very commercial Michigan Avenue. Navy Pier Park is within walking distance. Several subway stations nearby.

Travelodge Hotel Downtown Chicago

Travelodge Hotel Downtown Chicago

The hotel is ideally located, two blocks from Lake Michigan and Grant Park, and less than a mile from the Willis Tower (Sears Tower) and Millenium Park. The nearest subway station (Harrison) is a 3-minute walk away.

Inside the hotel: Thai Spoon Restaurant and Sushi Bar. Chicago Carry-Out offers breakfast and lunch.

The entire hotel is non-smoking.

The Inn of Chicago

The Inn of Chicago

Housed in a historic building, the Inn of Chicago has been recently renovated and scatters its modern colors and designer furniture in a very "boutique hotel" atmosphere. Definitely a great plan and a very interesting value for money!

Ideally located in the heart of the city, the chic boutiques and huge shopping malls of the Magnificent Mile are within walking distance, less than a block from the hotel. Millennium Park and Navy Pier Park, with its food stands, souvenir shops and carousels (the city's most popular attraction), are just 5 blocks away, while the nearby CTA station is the perfect base for exploring downtown Chicago.

The hotel's bar-lounge, the Inn Bar, offers a sophisticated yet modern atmosphere. An extensive beer list, inventive cocktails and a fine selection of wines. We love the elegant, lushly landscaped terrace overlooking the skyline.
